My weekly dose of blogging was delayed for a few days because I have been so busy (LOL my cousin's wedding + some swimming outings here and there)

Woot time is really so fast... April is about to end in a few hours LOL! And everything is moving so fast ^^;;

LOL I'm in the mood for writing this sort of review ^___^;; I have been wanting to doing this last week but I haven't organized my mind on how to do this one ^__^;;

So far 2007 is a little better than 2006 (Well it depends on your perspective) but let's see on the year-end if it will continue on this streak (because I don't want an enka to top the year-ender specials >_____<)

The only thing that I kinda dislike for this year is the streaks of new releases as if there is no tomorrow... I have been sooooo dizzy on which I will listen and watch first =____=

"The Best"

*Albums*
1. m-flo's Cosmicolor (released on March 28,2007)
- The last of "m-flo loves" project *cries* I seriously love m-flo's collaborations to different artists *____* Plus it is nice to see a lot of artist during their live performances... xD Now that they have officially declared that this album will be their last, Verbal and Taku have managed to pull out great tracks on this album. The song titles all have the word "love" on their titles. And they have began collaborating with Crystal Kay (on Reeewind!) and now ending it with her again LOL (Love Don't Cry)
Best Tracks: (single) Picture Perfect Love (with Monkey Majik), (non-single tracks) Stuck in your love with melody. and Love Me After 12 AM with Alex of Clazziquai Project (the gem of this album LOL I am really addicted to this one)
**I will really buy this for this year!!!!!!!!! xP** (Have already bought this one - May 23, 2007)

2. EXILE EVOLUTION (released on March 7,2007)
- call me bias! LOL xD Although most of the songs from this album are b-sides of their previously released singles, I still love their album (because Takahiro is in that album *evil grins*) It's nice to see that both the vocalist (ATSUSHI and TAKAHIRO) have contributed their compositions for this album xD I really like the new version of Won't Be Long with Neverland (Better than Kumi's LOL)
Best Tracks: (a-side single) Lovers Again, Michi; (b-side single) EVOLUTION, Giver, Holy Night, (non-single tracks) Unmei no Hito ~orchestra version~, No Other Man feat Nana (*_______*), Won't be Long feat Neverland, One Love, Kanata Kara Koko he, Dream Catcher,

3. YUI's Can't Buy My Love (released on April 4,2007)
- this is really a big surprise!! LOL I never expected that she will put up this great album (especially when her first album was really a flop) Of course, you can't buy YUI's love but you can buy her latest album! xD Although YUI didn't have that great vocals (like ayaka) but she managed to pull out songs that are really catchy (which are the gems of this album) With the previous 2 singles that she released (those became my favorite) it is nice to see those 2 songs on one album xD. LOL I like her rendition of Happy Birthday to you you (not your typical birthday song)
**Best Tracks: (single) Rolling Star, CHER.R.Y, (non-single tracks) Highway Chance, Thank you my teens, Happy Birthday to you you, Winding Road
**another to-buy album for this year (seriously I need money LOL!)** (Also bought on the same day as m-flo's Cosmicolor LOL xD)

4. Mr.Children's HOME (released on March 14, 2007)
- After a year (or more than a year) of not releasing an album, they did it again LOL xD During the previous years, I didn't like that much their music. But as I have read translations of their songs, I learn to love their songs :D :D Sakurai really is the music genius! xD This album is special for Mr. Children because it is a commemorative album for their 15th anniversary. Another trivias for this album are: HOME is their longest album (if you played this continuously, it is over an hour (lol i just didn't know the exact time but it is over an hour)); This album put them on the spot for their 50th million sales record (2nd to B'z) and on its latest feat, HOME is currently the 1st million selling album for 2007 (with a record of highest 1st weekly sales of 650K) and Mr.Children's 11th album that reached 1 million sales.... (So hmm.. might as well predict that they "might" rule the charts *hopefully*)
**Best Tracks: (single) Fake, Shirushi; (non-single tracks) Irodori, Toori Ame, Piano Man, Sunrise!
**might as well grab this and I <3 U album for this year :D :D**

5a. Nana Best album (by Anna Tsuchiya (as Nana of Blackstones) and Olivia Lufkin (as Reira of Trapnest)) (release on March 21, 2007)
- this is the first "best of" album that I really liked =____= This album has the mix of Nana and Reira's songs :D :D Avex really made a good choice for putting those two as Nana and Reira xD. Waaaahhhh speaking of this one, I really really want (to the nth power) to see NANA Premium Live Concert where Anna and Olivia both performed and had a duet rendition of A little pain and Rose!!!!!!! =____=
**Best Tracks: (single) Wish, a little pain, rose, kuroi namida; (non single) Recorded Butterflies, Winter Sleep, Anarchy in UK
**Waaaaaahhh I also want this album!!!! If I have money, I'll grab this one =____=***

my number 5 for this category is tied with:

5b. AAA - ALL / CCC (ALL was released on January 1, 2007 while CCC was released on February 7,2007)

- okay some will disagree with me on this one because ALL only contains 3 new songs while CCC is of course cover songs... :P but I still love AAA (even if they release are way hell crazy) but I really love all the tracks on that album (the reason why I put this on the best album for me.... The other thing that I dislike is Mission Innovation didn't collaborate them on CCC that's why dislike I hope their next album will pull out a great one (avex please put new songs >___<)
**Best Tracks: (singles) Hallelujah, Samurai Heart, Let it Beat, Winter Lander, Soul Edge Boy; (non-single) Champagne Gold (*___*), Mikansei, Feel Like Dance, Minna Star, Crazy Gonna Crazy, Mou Koi Nante Shinai
**I'm thinking if I'll grab ALL or I'll wait for their Best album LOL =___= (the good thing about Best-of albums)**

6. mink - Shalom (released on February 28,2007)
- waaaaaaaaahhh mink deserves the attention for this album (especially the cover is sooo cute) After a long time, japanese people noticed her vocal prowess :D :D
**Best Tracks: (single) Eternal Love, Hold on to a dream, Innocent Blue, Here by my side, Rescue Me; (non single tracks) Sekai de Ichiban Basho, if..., Blessing of Love
**might as well grab this one too**

7. CHIORI - My Soul Train (released on March 7,2007)
** well I just discovered her (a big credits to [profile] gaily_girl
who introduced her songs to me... :D)
**Best Tracks: Reminiscence, Itsuka, Hello!!!Hello!!Hello!!, Best Friends, Fuyu wo koete

8. Roma Tanaka - Keep On (released on April 25,2007)
- another underrated talented male artist. (he can sing and dance) Although some of the songs sound the same, it is definitely a good album xD xD I might as well add this one on my "to buy list" (O___O my list that keeps going on and on)
**Best Tracks: (singles) One, No Change No End, Not Alone, New Day; (non single) Namida, Romeo and Juliet, ikigai, Under the sun

*Singles* (there are soo many singles that were released, I just write what pops into my mind and will edit if I remember some singles that I think were good)
  •  AAA - Get Chu / She no Jijitsu- woah after the success of their Climax Jump single, AAA pulled another catchy singles :D :D Everything about this single is soooooo good (PVs, promo pic and songs) I recommend everyone to give this a try
  • AAA - Kuchibiru Kara Romantica / That's Right - I like how AAA gave a new twist to jazzy type and pop rock songs :D :D
  •  YUI - Rolling Star - Another catchy song by YUI :D :D The PV showed YUI as a rock-star wannabe (soooooo cute) Enuf said LOL
  • YUI - CHER.R.Y
  • ayaka x Kobukuro - Winding Road - The best collaboration for this year soooo far
  • Utada Hikaru - Flavor of Life - Hikki had a resurrection for this one :D :D I hope she will continue this streak
  • EXILE - Michi - I like the message of this song :D :D
  • Mr. Children - Fake
  • Arashi - Love so sweet
  • NEWS - Hoshi wo Mezashite
  • DBSK - Choosey Lover
  • mihimaru GT - Punkish
  • Crystal Kay - Konna ni Chikaku de (*_____________*)
  • Monkey Majik + m-flo - Picture Perfect Love
  • Monkey Majik + Yoshida Brothers - Change
  • Monoral - Tuesday - I Love it!!! I'm waiting for their album xD xD (It's just so irony that the single's title is Tuesday, yet it was released on Wednesday LOL)
  • EXILE - Summer Time Love - very summer-y feeling and I love even its live perfs (Takahiro is improving!!!!)

***The "Ugh"/"So-So"***
1. AVEX Best-Of albums =_________=
- Weh!!! I'm so sick of other artists best albums (Koda Kumi, Ayu) =___= Of course avex will want this because they will just release previously recorded songs and will earn a lot!!! >__< But lol luckily it didn't have a great impact either (*yay* I don't want Best-of albums to top on Oricon Year-ender charts!!!!!!!!!!! I will hunt them if that happen *evil grins*)

2. Yuna Ito's Heart (released on January 24, 2007)
- LOL it's album cover look like a rip-off from an Ayu album =____=;; (Don't shoot me for making this on the "ugh" list) Well here new songs didn't have a great impact on me that's why I put this on my "ugh" list ~____~ But I like Precious, Workaholic and Truth

3. BoA - Made in Twenty (released on January 17,2007)
-she continues to be on mediocre after her flop album, Outgrow ~___~ (but okay I'm still a BoA fan) but her album didn't manage to get my full attention LOL...xD (well err maybe I need to give it a time to listen all those songs) The ones that stand out on her new album are: Our Love ~to my parents~, Gracious Days, Revolution Code 1986-2006, Nanairo no Ashita

4. UVERworld's Bugright
-I'm disappointed on how this album turned out =___= (it's not that I hate err but its a "so-so" album for me) I like Timeless more than this album xD but err it's nice to see that UVERworld is still on the scene :D.
*Standout songs: Live everyday as if it were the last day, Home Binetsu 39degrees, Hitori ja nai kara, LIFEsize, Discord

5. w-inds. - Journey
-okay I bought this album but lol gomen it didn't create a great impact on me.... >___< I can't say anything more about this album aside from the fact that I didn't like that much (lol have to listen to this a few more times)

6. KAT-TUN's cartoon KAT-TUN II
-woah a big flop!!! >__< Most of their songs were off key! (Blame that to Jin's absence on the album because he is the only one on KAT-TUN who can really sing xP)

7. Bennie K - The World
- I'm disappointed of how their album turned out >____<;; It's more on pop rather than R&B... But I love their single tracks but the new tracks didn't manage to get my attention at all ~____~ Japana-rhythm is still their best album IMO

**
Well this ends my review for jpop releases for this year... I will add more if I got some things that popped on my mind xD (this is really purely based on my opinions :P)
