EXILE LOVE album review

witchbladeWoohoo I have received my album and I finished listening and watching the DVDs. I never had a high expectation for EXILE LOVE as this was supposed to be for Valentines Day next year ^___^;;
And now for my little review ^^

LOL I'm really so sleepy now haha... *O* But this thing really kept me awake and I'm thinking of rewatching this DVD soon...
And now for my little review ^^

(I won't be ripping anything as my upload speed now is really slow, it will take me some light years before I can fully upload this xD LOL If you want to watch the DVDs, buy the album I guarantee that it's worth of your money xD)
LOL I thought EXILE was imitating m-flo with all those "love" titles. FYI, this is supposed to be for February 2008 according to EXILE's BBS but then Hiro planned to have the EXILE Perfect Year for next year so yeah this was pushed thru on December release.
(I'll only comment on the new songs)
Well this contains the PVs and the EXsamurai anime. LOL the anime was really so short that the main story haven't started yet!!!! There was kinda a little spoof on it that the animated Takahiro was also going to Ropponggi for a Vocal Battle hahaha.... Makidai was a drunk warrior, Matsu's one is so cute *__* Usa still brought his fashion sense to his character. Hiro is the kakkoii leader. Atsushi looked like a Yakuza while Akira is the big guy!!!! Takahiro aside from being an "EXsamurai" is also an expert on calligraphy (Well this is true, Takahiro's calligraphy is really nice)

Disc 1: CD Tracks
What Is Love - This track is my super favorite in the album *___* I got to give michico and T.Kura bear hugs for this song. I can't wait to see this on their tour
Beautiful - like the title, the song is also beautiful. I like it's mid-tempo theme
Make Love - what I don't like in this song is it's repetition of some words ^^;; A failed R&B style song
Sora Kara Ochitekuru JAZZ - I <3 it's jazzy beat although this one has an in vibe of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra style
Love - I can't classify this as favorite or not as I think I need some time before this can grow on me...
sayonara - this song is for Matsu's dad who passed away last May. But despite of the mood, I can classify this as mediocre one
Kawaranai Mono - another ballad song... lol the word Kawaranai Mono is stuck on my mind but not for this song but for Oku Hanako's song ^^
Touch the Sky featuring Bach Logic - another super favorite!!! *___* I really miss EXILE doing this type of song. Although it would have been better if they release it as a single.

Disc 3: EVOLUTION ~Summer Time Love~ Final Night at Tokyo Big Sight
This is the primary reason why I bought EXILE LOVE ^___^;; I really really want to see this ever since I've read that fanblog review (which killed myself and haunting me to anticipate this album)

Setlist:
EVOLUTION - this is one is a whole lot better than the Evolution perf in Yokohama arena. Atsushi now lessened his stress to the english words of the song. Mah, I guess I can't really expect a flawless perf for this song *sigh*
- Documentary 1 -
Waaaahhh I'm soooo jealous at those fangirls who have received a special surprise from EXILE. An autographed message from each member on their flaglets tour good. *___* The flags were placed randomly at the seats on the arena. So yeah, people who received those items were very lucky!
HIBIKI - for those who have watched the live tour, just imagine that this one is like Holy Night xD but singing Hibiki ^^
- Documentary 2 -
In this part, they showed how they pulled off birthday surprises for Hiro and Matsu. LOL I was really laughing at Matsu's one because he was really embarrassed when his mother appeared on stage and greeted him for his birthday. While on Hiro's one lol it was funny because he drank two large glasses of beer on stage *O*
Choo Choo TRAIN - Waaahh I love the stage for this one. The parts of the stage were coming out in different areas of Tokyo Big Sight. They formed it in the middle. (well of course, ensuring it's stability) It was like an improved version of Choo Choo Train in Vocal Battle Audition *___* They were all so cute singing and dancing this song.
- Documentary 3 -
It's an interview with the head of their band. LOL during his birthday, EXILE pulled out a surprise for him. Haha they poured him some wine and champagne. It was really a blast of champagne in the backstage.
Dream Catcher - This part, EXILE is divided into two groups; Group 1: Atsushi, Hiro, Usa and Akira while Group 2: Takahiro, Makidai and Matsu. They were riding on that float like thing and singing around the whole arena. Then on the middle part, some backstage scenes were shown. Then they meet on the middle stage and they sing again there facing the audience (I hope you got this part haha.. I'm really so tired now but I want to finish this because I really have short term memory)
JONTE - Yureru - I felt this one was just from another live tour set.. ^^;; (The real Jonte song was Sen no Namida in the final night) But anyway still a good perf but they shortened it.
- Documentary 4 -
This shows the bonding of Jonte + COLOR + EXILE. And they showed some clip while they were having practice at the stage
COLOR - Blue Sky - :( It would have been better if they showed Lost Moments than this one... T_____T But anyway, COLOR did a good job performing this song. Yuichiro is not that nasal compared to Namida Ochinai you ni
No Other Man feat.NaNa - This is one of my favorite performances *____* I like it even on Yokohama setlist. But well on this one, the real NaNa appeared and performed with them. Wow NaNa is really a good dancer!!! *O* It's such a waste that her solo works don't showcase her dancing talent. It would have been better if this one was a single than an album track.
- Documentary 5 -
This is an introduction video of J Soul Brothers, a resurrection.
J.S.B Is Back - This is a new reformed group of Hiro whose vocalists came from Vocal Battle Audition and some defunct dance group. I just realized that Nesmith was a good dancer ^___~
- Documentary 6 -
LOL it was funny how Atsushi mistaken Okamura as one of EXPG!!! LOL XD He's really that small... Also on this part, it was shown some backstage scenes with Okamura and the dancers.
WON’T BE LONG feat.NEVER LAND - To those who have watched Mecha Ike, the SP showed this perf already there. LOL it was really funny how Okamura stole the camera moment of Matsu.
DANCER’S ANTHEM - Okamura joined the dancers in this part. Haha he "challenged" each member on their dancing stints. XD
SUMMER TIME LOVE - If Hibiki was like Holy Night, this one is like Dream Catcher XD LOL well this is just the last song before the encore as opposed with the Yokohama setlist xD But still this is a good perf. Haha the hand thingy is so cute
- Documentary 7 -
Some snippets of Takahiro's documentary was shown here. It was really so touching that he performed on his alumni school during the graduation ceremony. But like he said, he is happier than the students who were graduating because that perf was a dream come true for him.
Unmei no Hito-Orchestra Version- - Takahiro fans should know that this one is my husband's ultimate EXILE favorite song. The re-recorded version of Unmei no Hito (this one) is EXILE's gift for him after he won in the audition ^__~. It was really a nice performance *___*
- Talk part -
(Now, I really know this part, as like I've said earlier, I have already read this on a fanblog. This is the primary reason why I want to see this DVD ^__^;;)
After singing Unmei no Hito - Orchestra Version - Atsushi hugged Takahiro and said "Congratulations on your first anniversary" Atsushi said to the audience that they should give Takahiro a big applause for keeping up the 4 months of pressure in the live tour and for working hard. Hearing this words from the person he respected the most, Takahiro cried out of joy that his efforts was appreciated. (Actually they both cried) T___T I was teary eyed too as this is the first time, I've seen Takahiro cried this much (I've seen him cry but not this much.. It was double the cry than the audition)
"The hug" LOL no yaoi content!!!!
Michi - continuing from their talk, they sing and performed this one. (now with the dancers) Takahiro missed out singing some lines as his voice was really broke because he was still crying a lot T____T (I want to hug him too) The audience were crying too. LOL I tried to fill in the lines for him... T___T Atsushi was still crying too but he have managed to do his part. Then on the middle, Takahiro had gain his composure and started to sing his part properly
awww *hugs my husband: Good Job!!!*
Toki no Kakera - This time, Takahiro has finally gained his composure and sang the song properly ^____^
One love - It is still one touching performance. On this part, Akira and Makidai were crying T____T COLOR, NEVERLAND, JONTE and NaNa appeared on the stage and backupping EXILE. The audience sang some lines from the song ^^;; I love touching perfs like this ^^
Lovers Again - again for those who watched Mecha Ike. This one was already shown there. LOL I really find it funny the Chicchai Atsushi xD (Guess who laughed his ass that much??)
Choo Choo TRAIN/OKAXILE - LOL this is really so funny as Okamura danced his own steps while EXILE members were imitating his weird steps xD
