Yay! My DVD finally arrived!!! *O* I've been anticipating this one since July 21 (yeap the date of the concert)! Without biasness, this concert is one of the best concerts I've seen for this year and really enjoyed. This was a 3 hour concert but I felt that it is still not enough with all the hype XD. Where else can you see a lot of big singers in one concert: of course in a m-flo concert! *O* Plus I really love how genki the audience are even though they are of fans of different artists, they are still hyper party people.

So what are we waiting for??? Let's go now to the concert review!

Just like I've said during my review of EVOLUTION DVD, here again are some notes in reading my review

  • I'm not really a good reviewer so forgive my writing style. A high warning for over spazzing and fangirl squeals.
  • This is a review post not a download one. xD Just to be clear for all, I am not ripping my dvd (if you want to download the .avi rips, download the torrent that MellowB posted in JPS but if you want more than the .avi rips (like DVD ISO), buy the DVD! I guarantee you that it is worth of your money. (imagine 2 discs having 27 tracklist and 3 hour concert) or if you don't have money, then just live off with the .avi rips hahaha it's watchable anyway and that's the important part).
  • There are some downloads in this post but those are audio rips of the "new versions" of the songs. I didn't rip those so big credits to Conosuke for ripping the audio from the DVD.
  • LOL I hope you don't give too much attention to the screencaps. It was kinda hard for me to do screencapping because I'm watching it and at the same time spazzing and joining the fun xD.
  • I just recently watched Beat Space Nine Tour (for the 5th time) so I hope again you don't mind if I compare this tour with BSN
-------------------------------

This is the opening act of the concert. DJ Taku had made some DJ mix during this part. Lori Fine, the narrator, said some introductory part about Cosmicolor (too bad I don't understand what he said). Then he introduced the m-flo family (in case you don't know who they are: Ryohei, EMYLI, Emi Hinouchi, Yoshika, and LISA, m-flo). Although the screen effects were better than Beat Space Nine Concert, but Beat Space Nine opening pawned this one xD

Even though I've seen this performance for the nth time, I still enjoyed watching this one. Emi sang the same way as she did in the Korea concert during the near end part of this performance. But instead of singing Korea, she did with Arena... Though I really wish that they should have some other pairings like Emi with EMYLI or Emi with Yoshika or Ryohei with Yoshika. Here is the audio rip of Summer Time Love - Yokohama concert version

Since Crystal Kay didn't show up herself in this great concert, Emi covered for her part. Well for those eyebrow raisers asking why Emi covered this song. Emi has every right to sing this because she co-composed this song ^__^;; And she did a good job in covering this one. I just felt that one blow to her dress and her underwears would be seen xD. Here is the audio rip of Love Don't Cry - Emi version

Woah Yoshika was wearing short skirt compared to what she wore during the Beat Space Nine concert! While I like EMYLI's costumes in Beat Space Nine compared to this tour xD (Looks like Emi kinda "stole off" the spotlight from EMYLI because on the last tour, EMYLI had the most number of performances and now it was Emi's turn). But still I enjoyed watching this performance as much as I do during the Beat Space Nine

Diggy Mo was the first special guest outside of the m-flo family. EMYLI did her usual Christina Aguilera-like vocals like the one she did in Korea concert. I just felt something off with Diggy Mo's raps. He kinda messed up the beginning of his raps.

Sorry for the caps.. LOL I was too focus in their very good performance *O* I actually like Maynard's voice here than Blaise. LOL I think Blaise messed up some lines but anyway still a good perf. I got to thank m-flo for introducing me to Monkey Majik and I hope that I got to see either the APPI concert (the one with m-flo, Bennie K, SEAMO and others) or their tour. I really want to see Long Shot Penny and I miss you on a live perf.

Well to those who watched this concert, you will noticed that all female singers in this event were wearing their 2 inches high heeled shoes and Bonnie Pink is not exempted to this xD Why did I mention it? Because I noticed when Bonnie Pink went down the stairs, I just thought that she might get slipped/tripped and there is something off with the way she walked. Hmm.. it will be good if Bonnie Pink sing the "tu-lu-lu" part too xD. During the J-melo episode, it was revealed that Verbal liked Bonnie Pink back then that's why I included the hug screencap.

This is one of the songs that I don't listen often in m-flo's album. Double got extensions in this perf and well she and Verbal danced a bit while singing. The jazzy arrangement of this song was really good and suitable for slow dance.

OMG! Well for those who know me, this song is really my favorite 1 million times since the day I first listened to this song. This opened my gateway to love Clazziquai Project because of this great man! This is one of my favorite performance. Seems like Alex really loves to wear that white long sleeve polo. (So far this is the third time I saw him wear it) Alex started out in an acoustic mellow of Love Me After 12 am in pure ENGLISH!!! Yes that's right this is the new version of Love Me After 12 am!! *O* then on the middle part, the melody went back to it's original beat. I really love how Alex vocalizes the "That's when I change...." I thought at first that it was part of the editing during the recording of this song but no... Alex can sing it off on live perf *O* I really love this song whatever version it is. And lol now I understand what he is singing in the intro part of this song xD (that for the longest time, I've been figuring out what are the lyrics of that song) It's really good to see that Alex and Verbal are very good friends. (Speaking of him, I will whine until he release a solo album as his side project.. Such a waste to that velvety voice) >>> here is the audio rip of Love Me After 12 am - Cosmicolor Live Concert version.

All the way from New York, SNACKY CHAN!!! LOL! They lack two more singer/group,  Thaitanium and Edison Chen. But well still a very good performance. (DJ Deckstream was the one who did the first mix). Although I don't feel any interaction between Snacky Chan and Ryohei :\ And hmm... I felt that they omitted Thaitanium and EDC's parts in this song...

This is the one song that I always skip in Cosmicolor album xD But well when I watch live performance, I tend to change opinions about the song. And this one is really good. Hmm.. I'll check out Doping Panda's discography sometime :D

ADDP became the breather performance for Verbal. Well as you see, Verbal was not on this performance. I actually like both version of this song, the other one was with EMYLI in Beat Space Nine tour. LOL Analyze, Dissect, Detect, Process is stuck into my mind.

This was the start of LISA's 5 song streaks in the concert. Ahhhhh she should stop wearing those kind of clothes that made her boobs look baggy.. I was kinda err afraid that her bra would snap out xD

Ohhh there is one song before HANDS but my screencaps were messed up,  How You Like Me Now. This song brought back the old m-flo sound. The crowd was rapping with them *O* and screaming LISA's name

This is like just the old m-flo times... *O* It started with a piano with a kiddy sound lol (hahaha gomen for the description) This performance lasted for barely 2 minutes xD

Before this song, there was a talk part between Verbal and LISA. Verbal was referring to LISA as Onee-san (older sister, and I think the other members of the m-flo family calls her onee-san. I've read EMYLI's blog and she said the same for LISA). On their talk, Verbal told about the story of LISA's hair extension that it flew out during their performance in Nagoya LOL XD. This is my favorite performance among LISA's songs. The audience were singing with them! I actually love the audience in this concert because they were so genki and participative!

Waaahhh it's been so long that they've brought out the old m-flo tune. The performance was so nostalgic. I don't think LISA will go back to m-flo.

The Beat Space Nine Concert version is better than this one. >< I really liked that perf were Taku played the maracas and Verbal danced a bit. But anyway the visuals for this one were really good ^^

Ohhhh this performance is 10 times better than the Beat Space Nine one in all aspect. I can't help to give a smile whenever I remember Miliyah's outfit in BSN Live. Hmm I just notice that lol some female guests have their hair extensions xD

This performance was the first one to leak out. I only watched that leak once and I felt that there was something off with it. But when I watched this performance in high quality, I really enjoyed this one. Out of the female performers (aside from the m-flo family), BoA got the very good interaction with Verbal. Although I like her outfit and hairstyle during the Beat Space Nine concert >< (Emi also got a very good version of this song, and I was really spoiled at her versions xD)

When I first heard Love to Live By in Cosmicolor album, my first reaction was ewww.. I'm not for singers with kiddy voices. But watching this performance, make me like this song and Chara too. She actually didn't sound that bad in live performance. I also like her interaction with Verbal and the audience. I think they are the only pair that always go to the same directions going to the audience (the other performers are going to the opposite direction where Verbal was)

Before Lotta Love performance, there was a talk portion. On this part, Verbal showed off the towel good for the Yokohama concert (as shown on the screencaps). Then he asked the audience (for those who were from their previous concerts) to spread their towels. And some lol have brought towel goods from different artists. (I saw the one with Soul'd Out!) Then Emi joined Verbal in the talk part. She also pointed out the different colors of the towels. Purple - Nagoya concert, Green - Sendai, Blue - Sapporo concert,

Another Emi cover song. But anyway, I will not complain because Emi did a very good job in this performance. I actually like Emi's dress here. The crowd was so hyper waving their towels. On the middle part of this performance, the kids from the PV of Lotta Love appeared (yeah the little Minmi, Verbal and Taku). Download: Lotta Love - Emi version

Before the beginning of the encore performance, Verbal said that he wants to do the picture taking with the audience like their previous concert before the Yokohama one... (I can't remember right if it was the Nagoya one or the Sapporo one) Hahaha the audience were squeezing themselves to the center

This was the first m-flo song (the pre m-flo loves song) that I've listened to and I still enjoy listening to this one. Waaahh LISA should really stop wearing off those clothes.

Before the performance, Verbal and Yoshika talked about Yoshika's baby girl. Hmmmpphhh >< I was spoiled by Beat Space Nine performance of this song that I was looking for the strings but anyway this song is still one of the best performance in this concert. I wish that Yoshika will be back in releasing songs.

Before the start of Luvotomy, Verbal asked the audience to scream and pointing out to the screen so that they will reach the red level in their "scream meter". Well this performance was used as the PV for the promotion of the DVD so most probably everyone have seen this performance. I really liked the "Yes Sir" part and the Namie butt wiggle part xD And I forgive Verbal for messing up some lyrics because well this is his 25th song and it's understandable that he is kinda tired already rapping almost for 3 hours. Waaahhh I'm so envious of Namie for being so pretty and sexy. ><

Just like the BSN live concert, this song is the last song in the Cosmicolor tour. As much as I want to whine a Stuck in Your Love performance, I guess not on this concert. I'm kinda afraid that melody. will not pull out a good raps in Stuck in Your Love and of course Verbal was already tired. Ahhh I'm loving again the crowd!!! When they were asked what song they will sing, they all screamed "miss you"!! and then on the "boom-clap" part they were all chanting it! *O* Hmm.. don't you also think that melody. and Ryohei can make a good couple for real? hehehe...

***The m-flo loves artists in Yokohama Arena**

From left to right: band members, melody. EMYLI, Diggy Mo (Soul'd Out), Bonnie Pink, Double, Snacky Chan, Monday Michiru, Kato Miliyah, Chara, Verbal, Taku, Amuro Namie, LISA, BoA, Doping Panda, Alex (Clazziquai Project), YOSHIKA, Emi Hinouchi, Ryohei, band members again

Everything has an end. I was kinda sad that the concert playtime was already finished. Verbal introduced all the guests that attended the concert as shown on the screencap. Waaahhh where are Blaise and Maynard??? I just wished that this DVD showed off the backstage scenes. I'm curious how they all interacted with each other. Did Alex and BoA talked in Korean? LOL I want to know how Namie and BoA interacted and so as with other artists... All I know is that EMYLI lol told Blaise... "Ohhh you are that Monkey Majik guy" XD

Waaahhh such a good concert T____T (I'm thinking of watching again soon)

*sigh* I just hope that Kumi, Crystal Kay, Bennie K, Minmi, CHEMISTRY have appeared in this concert and it will be a more party blast concert. But I think Kumi will not probably pulled out a good chorus of Simple and Lovely since it is really Emi's song xD Hahaha

But if you will compare this to the previous live tour, in overall production this is a little less good to the previous one. The audio were a little off volume. The repeat performances of BoA, EMYLI, Yoshika were less good compared to the Beat Space Nine tour. Their performances were not that magical compared to 2005's concert. But nevertheless for a true live concert event, this is really a highly recommended thing to watch. And I highly encourage people to buy this DVD *O*
