Good News, Bad News

witchbladeWoohoo!!! After being away for a couple of days due to some "serious" business in the real world, I have been surprised by some jpop news.
Waaaaaahhh 2 weeks more before the 3 hour finale special of Liar Game!!! I can't wait!!!!!

For some good news,
EXILE and Sowelu will be doing a b-side collaboration song to be released this August :D :D The a-side single will have an upbeat EXILE track, the b-side is the EXILE x Sowelu x Doberman Inc collaboration song while the bonus song is the Takahiro x Atsushi version of Together (woot looks like the new phase of EXILE is reviving some old tunes from Phase 1)
The bad news
Yukari Goto of AAA officially called it quits and leaves AAA for good (*wails*) due to health problems. Although she is not my favorite member, AAA is still not the same without her (the acrobatics queen) >___< The official site of AAA already stated that AAA will still continue their activities as a 7-nin unit ~__~ And they already removed her profile and blog entries on the official site
This second one is not really a bad news but I have been always "against" best of albums in topping the Oricon charts (especially the upcoming yearly one) because it is unfair for original albums and best of albums are just compilations ~___~ But now as I have seen Orange Range will release their best album with 2 versions. I don't think it will a big hit because they released it after the "peak" of their career... >__< And Avex already screwed up the sales for Best albums (especially Kumi's 3 best albums) Another one that will release a best album is KinKi Kids. Maybe they will have a good chance of hitting the million. But I guess no original albums will kick off Mr.Children's HOME in its top spot LOL (I really want them to top Oricon since it has been years since they snagged number 1 spot in Oricon yearly charts)... Waaahh I don't want a best album that will grab the top spot in the Oricon yearly chart!!!!

on 2007-06-11 02:08 pm (UTC)i can't believe that sony expect a combined sales of 6 million i know Orange Range are popular but i think maybe they're expecting too much but who knows maybe they'll reach the target. i love best albums although they don't always put the best songs on the albums imo. i've just been listening to LISA's best album, it's amazing & despite her bad single sales i think its doing well in the album charts.
